Is it Winter or Spring?

Today I went for a Hike at what is Called the “The Bird sanctuary” in Lake Tahoe….It was a beautiful hike and as I was looking around I was thinking….. this is not the Norm for this time of year….We usally have tons of snow and the streams are frozen over…. I don’t think Mr. GroundHog got it right for this part of the world, because it looks like spring is already here.

December Sunset

I decided on Tuesday I would do a photo shoot of the sunset over the lake….I arrived there around 4:30 and started shooting the changes of the sunset.

It was so amazing to witness the changes right before my very eyes……I was there till about 6:00 and was able to capture the most amazing sunset I have ever seen this year…After the shoot I just sat in my car watching the sunset till the very end…and I thought to myself how lucky we are to live and witness such a beautiful event what a gift to us.

Moonlit Lake

Tonight on my way home from shopping…I got to drive by the lake and I noticed how stunning it looked all lit up by the full moon, which was behind me…. I had to stop get some pictures, so I pulled off the road and capture these shots…

Frozen Lake

We had some really cold temperatures last week, we got as low as -10 degrees. It was cold enough to freeze some of the shoreline of the lake. It was really beautiful to see.
